Richard and Katie have been a big part of our lives ever since we started law school and when they told us months ago that they were pregnant we were ecstatic for them! I did some maternity pictures with Katie last fall and I was so very excited for Preston to be born so I could meet him and take his picture too!
These past few days we’ve all been waiting anxiously to see when the baby would make his arrival, and this afternoon he finally did. I don’t have any brothers and sisters and none of my close friends have had babies yet, so Preston was the first freshly born baby I’ve ever seen in my life.
He did not disappoint! He’s such a sweetheart and he’s so calm. He has this adorable habit of sleeping with his arms above his head that makes it look like he’s just so thrilled with life, even when he’s not awake.
Congratulations Richard and Katie!! He is perfect in every way and I know that you are going to be amazing parents to your precious son. I can’t wait to see him grow up (and take pictures as he does!)
