If I were to create a Hall of Fame for The Studio B, the Chandler family would definitely be in it!

I photographed their daughter’s wedding and their son’s wedding as well as plenty of family sessions with all their adorable grandchildren.

The older kids are all into superheroes (we are very familiar with this phase at our house as well) and they wanted to take photos in their superhero clothes.

For a good portion of the shoot they were in superhero freestyle mode and I just photographed them doing their awesome moves and having a great time.

I love being able to do family portraits where the kids get to move around and do what they want to.

Of course, I mix in some poses too, but most of the time they’re choosing what makes them happy.

Doing things that way gives them more patience when I pose them and then also lets me capture their real personalities in that moment. That’s the best thing to look back on!
