Jen and Devin’s story began years ago, when they were high school students in Florida. They were on the crew team together, began dating, and had a great time together.
Then everything changed when Jen’s family moved to North Carolina. As she finished high school in a different state, they lost touch and the memory of their romance grew dim.
As they grew up they both fell in love with others, but in each relationship they’d find something missing and move on.
Then out of the blue, Jen received a facebook friend request from a smiling face she hadn’t seen in years. It was Devin.
She accepted the request, and soon after got a message from him. Devin let her know that he was going to be in Atlanta soon for business, and asked if she’d like to have dinner and catch up after all this time.
Jen agreed, and a short while later the pair found themselves talking over dinner as easily as they had when they were back in high school. Devin’s job kept him in town for a few days, and the spent all of his free time with Jen until it was time for him to head back to Florida.
This time, they were determined not to let the distance between them affect things like they had before.
When Jen first told me about him, she excitedly recounted their history and pulled out her phone to show me a picture of them together. It was both of them smiling and all dressed up at their high school prom and it was the cutest thing ever.
Before long they were engaged, and on the path to making their old romance one that would last for the rest of their lives.
Jen and Devin were married in North Carolina at Hendersonville Country Club with the mountains providing a stunning backdrop as they said their vows. Jen looked amazing in her Melissa Sweet dress as she danced with her friends and family throughout the night.
Congratulations you guys! I’m thrilled that after all this time you’ve finally found your happily ever after 🙂
XOXO,
