Four Years | Happy Anniversary

It all began when we were studying abroad in Granada, Spain.

We shared our first kiss after enjoying some red wine, and although it sounds crazy, I knew then that we would end up together.

The rest of that summer in Europe was a whirlwind of romance and fun.

We travelled to Morocco, to Rome and around Spain.

A few days before it was time to go home we found ourselves in a gift shop at the Cathedral and I came across a children’s book about Granada.

It was about a mouse named Pepe who explores the city and visits all of the spots we’d been to during our time there.

I bought it because I knew that one day we’d have children together and I wanted them to know about the place where their Mom and Dad fell in love.

Today we celebrate four years of marriage.  Pepe Mouse and Granada were just the beginning.

In this fourth year we’ll embark on yet another crazy and amazing journey together- parenthood.
