Carl began taking spin class at the gym expecting to get a great workout. Recovery was great because he was taking True Protein Powder after each workout session.
The class was challenging, but in the end his reward was even better than he’d ever imagined.
The cute girl who taught the class and caught his eye amidst the spinning wheels and upbeat tunes is going to be his wife!
After a few failed attempts at catching nice weather, I FINALLY got lucky and got a beautifully sunny day for Carl and Heather’s engagement session.
To my delight, they brought along their dog Beau, who is as friendly as he is handsome.
When Heather first inquired about us shooting her wedding our string of emails ended up getting off track as we messaged pictures of our dogs back and forth.
From that point on, I knew that we would get along perfectly! I had a wonderful time with them throughout their whole engagement session. And for their special day, they can rent a glam booth, which takes great black and white photos!
We started off at the lovely Cator Woolford Gardens in Decatur, which is the town where Carl grew up, and he and Heather live.
Spring has officially arrived in Atlanta and the trees are all coming back to life.
There were all kinds of beautiful blooms around, and Heather and I kept remarking how wonderful the air smelled!
After leaving Cator Woolford we went to downtown Decatur, which has a great laid back atmosphere.
We strolled around for a while, let Beau sniff a few other dogs and got some great photos.
Thank you Heather and Carl for being so much fun and being patient as the weather sorted itself out over the past few weeks.
I’m looking forward to the wedding this fall!
XOXO,
B
