I’d like you to meet Skye, a blue female Doberman (she’s not really blue, that’s just what the ones with a light gray coat are called) who is about 2 years old.
She had a rough start to life and was surrendered by her original owners because her case of mange was too much for them to handle.
Poor Skye was almost completely bald when Atlanta Doberman Rescue got her; her owners had been “treating” her mange by dousing her in motor oil and hoping that would make things better.
She has since made a full recovery and sports a wonderful new coat of fur!
Skye is a total sweetheart and although she is on the small side for a Doberman, she had a wonderfully large personality.
