There are few things that can top the feeling of winning for the first time on the PGA Tour.
Luckily for Jason Dufner, he got to marry his beautiful fiancé Amanda Boyd only six days after his victory at the Zurich Classic.
Talk about the best week ever!
Expertly executed by M. Elizabeth Events, Amanda + Jason’s wedding at Fountainview Mansion in Auburn was one of the most dazzling celebrations we’ve ever had the privilege of photographing.
Amanda wore two gorgeous dresses, one by Judd Waddell and the other by Heidi Elnora, and she looked absolutely stunning in them both!
From the putting greens set up on the property to the custom monogrammed golf balls for guests to play with, every detail was delightful.
The floral designs by The Flower Store were nothing short of breathtaking. I adore peonies and they were everywhere, creatively coordinated with hydrangea and hyacinth.
Beautiful blooms draped the wedding arbor that Amanda’s father had built for the occasion and petals were arranged down the aisle in a lovely pattern.
Following the ceremony the party began with wonderful music from A-Town A-List who had guests on their feet twirling around.
Having traveled and dined around the world together, Amanda and Jason chose their favorite restaurant STK to cater an elegant four course meal for their guests.
They even flew the executive chef from the flagship restaurant in New York City down to Auburn to make sure everything turned out perfectly.
The celebratory cuisine continued with two magnificent cakes from Sweet Sensations, including an Auburn University themed groom’s cake, a nod to the groom’s alma mater.
Near the end of the evening the bride and groom treated their friends and family to a spectacular display of fireworks, which was a huge hit!
Amanda and Jason, thank you so very much for having us there with you on your wonderful wedding day. It was our pleasure and our honor!
Matthew and I wish you nothing but the best and are excited for all that the future holds for you.
XOXO,
B

Thanks so much for putting up these beautiful pictures for us to see. Congratulations on your wins, Jason (and Amanda for your help) and best of luck in your life together, on the tour, and in the Ryder Cup!
[…] **Just so this doesn’t go unnoticed, Dufner took some time to get married the Sunday in between the Zurich and PLAYERS. I’m going to give him a free pass for the T68. I don’t think my mind would necessarily be in ‘golf mode’ after a wedding like this.** […]
Dufner did OK for himself.
Congratulations to a very lovely couple and for a great championship victory. Do not ever change from the way you two are now. You have become my favorites. The very best in the future.
[…] They really had a wonderful wedding. […]
