University of Georgia Wedding Pictures | Julie + Doug | Athens

A long time ago when I was still studying for the bar and planning on being a lawyer (hahaha, silly Becca!) Julie e-mailed me.

After reading the detailed review I wrote on Trip Advisor about our honeymoon at Excellence Playa Mujeres (which included links to lots of pictures) she had some questions about the resort and the possibility of shooting her wedding.

For a variety of reasons, it ended up not working out for us to shoot her wedding, but I let her know that I would be happy to take pictures of her and husband Doug all dressed up in their wedding attire after they were married.

Almost a year and a half later, I made good on my promise and we all met up in Athens.  It was wonderfully warm for an autumn afternoon and we had a great time shooting around  the picturesque campus of UGA.

We started on North Campus and ended with fun shots in front of Sanford Stadium, the famous home of the Georgia Bulldogs and their adorable mascot UGA VII!

Julie and Doug, thanks so much for being so awesome and getting all dressed up again, it was so much fun!

P.S.  We totally all need to start planning our return to Excellence Playa Mujeres 🙂
