This session was a collaboration between myself and Jade Lee of Lovelee Affairs that we’d been planning forever. We knew that we wanted to work together to create a wonderfully romantic bridal session on a farm, and finally the right set of circumstances fell into place.
The beautiful bride in these pictures is Samantha, one of Jade’s former clients who had the misfortune of having a very rainy wedding day. It didn’t just rain on the day of the wedding, it actually rained on Sam, her husband and their guests during the ceremony, soaking them all.
Luckily, Samantha has an extraordinarily sunny disposition (pun not intended) and she didn’t let the rain get in the way of what she wanted- marrying her perfect man!
When Jade and I started talking about this shoot months ago, we originally had planned on getting a model. However, once I heard about what had happened to Sam, I knew she would be the perfect fit for what we had planned and hoped that she would be as excited about it as we were.
Sure enough, sweet Samantha was thrilled about the idea of putting on her wedding dress again for some pictures and she looked amazing while doing so!

You know, it’s funny that I looked at all these photos and the one I like most is the one of the back of her head with her hair flying. So pretty.
