Our Trip to Israel Part One | The Animals

If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, you’re probably aware of the fact that I love animals.

All animals.

In fact, my most common answer to the popular childhood question “what do you want to be when you grow up” was zookeeper.

(If you’re curious, other responses included astronaut, teacher, firefighter, and marine biologist.  Oddly enough, never a lawyer.)

Anyhow, my love for animals led me to take plenty of pictures of the animals we encountered while in Israel.

It’s a very dog friendly country, and we saw lots of Israelis accompanied by their pets in parks, on the streets, and even inside the restaurants (not just the patios.)

There are a good number of stray cats, and we also saw camels, cows, birds and rabbits.

I promise the coming posts will feature more exciting and “cultured” subject matter, but I couldn’t resist sharing these cute faces with you!

XOXO,

ShukWe passed a vendor in one of the markets in Jerusalem selling dog treats that looked almost exactly like the ones back home.

I thought it was funny.
