It doesn’t feel like a decade ago…

I have always been, and will always be, proud to be the daughter of a firefighter.

I know I am blessed to still have my dad around and my heart goes out to all the daughters and sons of firefighters who lost their sweet dads a decade ago.

Ten years ago today, we came together as a nation in the face of danger and despair.

We need that spirit of togetherness now just as much as we did then.

Hug your loved ones, thank those who serve selflessly, and help those who need it most.
