Maclay Gardens Engagement Pictures | Hayley + Phillip | Tallahassee

After a few days of family time and pictures in South Florida, Matthew and I headed up to Tallahassee, our first home away from home (we both went to FSU for undergrad, although we never met each other there).  Hayley is one of my sorority sisters and when she sent me the e-mail a few weeks ago saying she was ready to get on my calendar for her July wedding I was so excited!  She’s from Tallahassee and was home from law school (all the cool kids are doing it!!) on the break, so the timing was perfect for us to swing by on the way back to Atlanta.

Hayley and Phillip are high school sweethearts and so adorable together!  They were AMAZING to take pictures of and were up for anything from tree climbing to sitting on railroad tracks.  We sort of lost track of time and ended up taking pictures until the sun was gone from the sky.

We started the session at Maclay Gardens, a local state park with a gorgeous variety of trees and flowers.  After that we went to Railroad Square, a funky art park that Hayley heard about from a friend.  It was a fantastically colorful location and I loved it!  It was so funky and different.

Congratulations Hayley and Phillip!  I can’t wait to make the trip back “home” to Tallahassee next summer for your wedding.
