Today you are six months old.

The way time passes for a parent is a paradox.

It feels like you were just born, yet it’s like you’ve always been here.

How to appreciate sitting still for an hour during a busy day as you sleep in my arms.

How to ask for help gracefully when I need it.

How to be a better daughter to my parents who continue to do so much for me.

I love watching the little person you’re growing into.

You are a happy baby and your knack for funny facial expressions always keeps us entertained.

The smile you greet me with in the morning is the best part of every day.

Snuggling you and nibbling your chubby baby fingers is my favorite thing to do.

I can’t believe I was lucky enough to be chosen as your Mommy.
