The original plan was for me to take pictures of my friend April and her super cute daughter Taylor, but everyone knows that life never goes according to plan 🙂

Instead, I found myself having the fun opportunity to be there for a family party thrown in honor of April’s niece Chanel, who was going off to the Air Force.

April’s family has strong ties to the military and her father, sister, and brother-in-law have all proudly served our country.

The party was a great way to celebrate Chanel joining the family tradition and also to have some portraits done while everyone was in the same place.
